The Adventures of Cucu Series
This is an illustrated series of engaging stories where Cucu, a pre-schooler, and her friends have different adventures and learn about various social and emotional issues, and strategies to deal with them.
About the Series:
Cucu, the protagonist, is a preschooler. She and her ethnically diverse group of friends have many adventures together. Each adventure focuses on addressing one core social or emotional issue. Examples include giving & receiving, sharing, curiosity, anger, patience, jealousy, frustration, fear, impulsiveness, self esteem, helping with chores and so on. Together the children have many fun adventures and also learn in the process.
CUCU GOES ON AN EGG HUNT
The first book in "The Adventures of Cucu" series, this book teaches kids about sharing.
Cucu, a preschooler, goes on an egg hunt with her friends Hannah and Asha. Asha is very sad because she finds only four eggs.
Cucu and Hannah remember that sharing with friends is a way of showing that you really care for them. They give Asha some of their eggs which makes her very happy. Seeing their friend Asha happy makes Cucu and Hannah happy as well.
